Gubbio cemetery by Andrea Dragoni and Francesco Pes

The expansion of the monumental cemetery of Gubbio has been built as a metaphysical city, as an art gallery in fusion with space by integrating the works of the Italian artists Sauro Cardinali e Nicola Renzi. An architecture that recalls the works of James Turrell, with large square skylights that were added to frame a view of the sky.

Walls and floors are made of travertine in memory use that did the Etruscans and all the most important public buildings of the Renaissance.
