7 Libraries you should see in Italy

A library is not just a place to store and browse books. It’s an interactive space, hosting different functions for various target groups; it’s a dynamic place that requires a careful planning practice for each activity. It is not easy to reconcile a newspaper area, a multimedia library, rooms for studying and maybe some spaces for conferences and presentations.

Isplora presents a selection of seven Italian libraries designed to be high functional and high comfortable spaces.

1) Maranello Town Library by Andrea Maffei Architects and Arata Isozaki, 2011

2) Elsa Morante Library by Dap Studio, 2009
