Mirabello School by MC Architects
The new school compound designed and built by the team of MCA in the municipality of Mirabello (FE) is a valid example of sustainable architecture in a context of reconstruction after a seismic disaster.
The complex consists of two buildings, two formally independent schools, connected if necessary by a small patio.
The main feature of the project is the high sustainability mainly declined in the attention on energy saving, natural lighting and ventilation.
The Mirabello school took just 45 days to be built up, thanks to the modularity of the design and to the choice of using a large percentage of prefabricated parts.
