Relais San Lorenzo

Relais San Lorenzo by Adolfo Natalini Architetti

Close to the historical center of Bergamo Alta, surrounded by mountains, the San Lorenzo Relais reopened to the public in 2013 after a restoration and expansion directed by the studio Adolfo Natalini Architetti.

The architecture of the Relais is a dialogue between the contemporary and the past; the expansion of the building enhances and preserves some important archeological ruins visible in the breakfast room and underneath a transparent walkway along the front of the building.
