The Seven Heavenly Palaces by Kiefer at Hangar Bicocca, Milano

The Seven Heavenly Palaces by Anselm Kiefer tower up at the entrance of the first hall of Hangar Bicocca. This is a permanent installation (not to be missed if you visit Milan!), within the great cultural center since 2004.

The name of the opera refers to a passage of an ancient treaty of Judaism; this work, magnificent and imposing, symbolizes a spiritual journey of initiation and it could be defined as the artistic peak of Anselm Kiefer.
