White Hole opening in Genoa
Inspired by the astrophysical concept of the white hole (inaccessible from the outside, but a source of light and matter), White Hole is a new exhibition space curated by Lorenza Baroncelli, Marco Ferrari, Joseph Grima, Antonio Ottomanelli, Elisa Pasqual and recently opened in Grillo Cattaneo square in Genoa.
White Hole declares itself to be more than a simple art gallery: it is a cultural platform where professionals can relate and exchange views on issues concerning the contemporary landscape, the authority and new technologies.
The exhibition space is scheduled to remain open every day, for a year; twelve installations will take place inside White Hole, one each month. Until February 28th, White Hole will host a screening of the film "Fortress of Solitude" by Space Caviar; it is an essay film that explores the development of the domotics, the automation of the domestic space, and the search for security and comfort in relation to the contradictory feelings of a houseowner.
