A wine tasting room by Alessandro Isola
The latest space by Alessandro Isola, is a space designed for the senses: a wine tasting room conceived for the wine estate Le Monde.
Nestled in the countryside of Pordenone, famous for its wine culture, the tasting room designed by Isola overlooks the surrounding vineyards; the large, hardwood tables for tasting are aligned with the rows of vines seen outside the lounge. Wood is not the only leading character of the project; Corten is used too, as a support for the wood furniture to make it seem lighter, almost suspended.
A band of Corten also decorates the bar counter, while a “waterfall” installation of white LED lights recalls the movement of spilled wine, emphasizing the materiality of the furnishings.
